​​​My 12 Month Journey: Year in Review

Wow! 2016 is over and 2017 has begun. I can already tell it is going to be an amazing year. Before we dive into 2017, I want to look back at what was an incredible year. More specifically, I want to go back to last January when I created My 12 Month Journey. A year later and I can say that this was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.  

For those of you that are new or for those of you that have been with me the whole time, let me show/remind you what the idea was when I created it.
 
My 12 Month Journey was created in response to people always telling me what they wish they could do, but never do it. Every month for the year of 2016 I participated in an extracurricular activity that was either out of my comfort zone or something that I always wanted to do but claimed I never had the time to do it. The goal of this experiment was to inspire people to pursue their passions, break out of their comfort zones and show that you can do it even with a busy schedule.

If there is anything I learned from My 12 Month Journey, it is to go for it and don’t hold anything back. I wasn’t very good at all of these activities but I went for it and did the best that I could. By the end of each month I became better, both at the activity and as a person who is trying to change the world.
 
I don’t care what your “it” is but if you want something you need to go for it. Don’t wait any longer to get your dream job, lose weight, eat healthier, work out more, or learn a new language. Start today and over time you will see incredible results. Life is a beautiful thing and we can all achieve something great!
 
I believe in you but it all starts with your mindset. Go for it! Believe in yourself! Enjoy your journey!
