Please welcome Karen Freberg to Elevate Your Sports Career! Karen will be featured in the course as an expert on social media and how to use social media to connect with influencers and create new career opportunities.

Karen Freberg is an assistant professor in Strategic Communications at the University of Louisville. Freberg is also a research consultant in social media and crisis communications and has worked with several organizations and agencies such as Hootsuite, DHS, CDC, National Center for Food Protection and Defense (NCFPD), and Kentucky Organ Donor Affiliates. In 2015, Freberg was named as a Plank Educator Fellow working with General Motors working on social media analytics and influencer relations projects.
