Elevate Your Network Launch Update!

We did it! We are officially two weeks in since the launch of Elevate Your Network and all I can say is...WOW!

It's one thing to see the book inspire thousands of people, but it's a completely magical thing to feel the love and support from my friends, colleagues, and the elevate community.

Writing and publishing a book is no easy task. It requires huge amounts of time, energy, and effort, but that's also what makes it so special. It becomes a piece of you and when you release it to the world, you are releasing a piece of you.

Because of that, it can be extremely nerve-wracking to launch a book because while there are so many people who appreciate the book and all it took to create it, there are also people who are going to criticize or devalue my work.

This process isn't just about me teaching and sharing what I've learned so other people can benefit; it's about me going through the process with the readers and community. I am constantly working on building better relationships and writing this book has given me a platform to keep growing.

I was listening to James Clear talk about his new book Atomic Habits, and he said that even though he is the author, he and his readers are peers. They are both learning how to be better each day and create good habits. He's not perfect and isn't an absolute habit master with extraordinary superhuman habits, but he's trying. He's trying to get better every single day and that's what is so powerful.

I couldn't agree with his thoughts more. We are all learning and growing along the way and if my book can help us elevate together, then we're on to something.

A big part of this book launch was setting up a few goals for myself. I love setting goals because they serve as challenges and accountability triggers. Being able to look over my goals leading up to and during the launch has given me the chance to push myself, but also the chance to focus on taking specific actions that will lead to the best results.

I am happy to say that I achieved a good amount of them and I am still working to achieve the rest. What I can say, is that I have felt the love so much from people who have already read the book. The reviews, the feedback, the suggestions... it all inspires me to keep challenging myself to create more and be more.

Something that has been really awesome to see is how over two years since I launched Elevate Beyond, we've evolved. I've evolved in so many ways and learned so much, but so has everyone who's been with me on the journey. 

If this is any indication to what we are going to be able to accomplish in the years to come, then count me in because it's going to be a hell of a ride!
