Creating a Sales Funnel: Month 11 in Review

11 down, 1 to go. November is coming to and end and with that so is my November activity. For the past month I have been learning and creating a sales funnel for my new course, Elevate Beyond - SCV: Kelf's Keys to College Preparation, Career Development and Life Motivation.
 
I set out at the beginning of November to learn how to create an automated sales funnel that would allow a customer to go from curiosity to purchase. I chose to learn more about sales funnels so I could create a sales funnel for my new course that will be launching tomorrow. I wanted to create a way to automate my business while also providing incredible value to my potential customers. 
In order to create a quality sales funnel I needed to study up. The two best tools I found during this process besides doing research and listening to podcasts are:

  • Russell Brunson’s book, DOTCOM Secrets
 and
  • Leadpages

I am a big fan of transparency and I want to share with you the fundamentals of my sales funnel for Elevate Beyond – SCV: Kelf’s Keys to College Preparation, Career Development and Life Motivation. Hopefully, by me sharing this with you, it will help you or someone you know in the future.
 
Step 1: Send someone from a Facebook ad, blog post or email blast to a landing page to collect an email address. Their email address will be inputted into Mailchimp, an email service provider, and become part of my email list where I will then start getting to know the person.
 
Step 2: The person who opted in will be redirected to a sales page that will hopefully further peak their interest and add value to their life. This page will be all about Elevate Beyond – SCV and how it can help change the future for their children and help them achieve success in college and in their career. The user can then purchase admission to my course for over 50% off which is a holiday special I will be running till the New Year!
 
Step 3: Once the user has purchased admission to the course, they will be redirected to another page where they can really get to know me and start connecting with me on social media.
 
This is the abbreviated version, but in short the sales funnel I created will have people go from being unfamiliar with me to customers and friends while at the same time receiving incredible value and guidance from me along the way.
 
There is still a lot to learn and it might not be perfect but it’s a great start. I will continue to learn and improve as I go but the key is to take action and make progress each day.
 
I am super excited to have gotten this far and can’t wait to start bringing communities together and helping create the next generation of leaders!
