The Blog of Jake Kelfer
Randi Kassan, the CEO of Do Lyfe Activewear launched her Kickstarter campaign just days ago. Within 3 days, she was 100% funded and rapidly growing. Randi’s journey hasn’t been easy to get where she is today, but the one thing that drives her and will continue to drive her is her extreme ability to persevere when things get challenging.
Tell me how you went from dreaming about being an entrepreneur to becoming the CEO of Do Lyfe Activewear.
School was never my thing. I had always dreamed of becoming an entrepreneur but at 18 I didn’t know where to begin, so I went to college with hopes of finding my niche. I started developing my first business while still in school and eventually decided to drop out and pursue it full time. I quickly learned that it would require a lot more funding than I had expected in order to succeed and therefore I ended up shutting it down. Even though my business failed, I feel like I was more educated and motivated to succeed than ever. Do Lyfe is in its infancy but I am confident, determined and so excited to grow this into a very successful brand.

What did it take to launch Do Lyfe?
After a year of research, product testing and crazy hours, I finally launched my kickstarter campaign. I painstakingly researched manufacturer after manufacturer until I found the quality at an affordable price that I could be proud to stand behind. I could have easily gone to market 9 months ago with a cheaper fabric but it was extremely important to me to find both quality and value.
Why did you start Do Lyfe?
I started Do Lyfe Activewear out of frustration for paying $100 for activewear, knowing they only cost a fraction of the price to make.
What is Do Lyfe?
Do Lyfe Activewear: a new fitness fashion brand aiming to bring high-quality workout clothes without the super-premium price tag.
What is your #1 goal with Do Lyfe?
Our goal is to become the new standard in the activewear industry and change the way you think about fashion by offering high quality stylish designs at an exceptional price.
Starting at only $54, you can have your own pair and support Randi’s campaign here!
As someone who is on my own entrepreneurial journey, I see Randi as an inspiration. She is an inspiration in her ability to create a product that will help women live active and passionate lives. She is an inspiration in her ability to take a chance and pursue her dreams. Most importantly, she is an inspiration because she is on her journey to achieve her own definition of success.
Entrepreneurship is about taking risks. It’s about trial and error. It’s about figuring out what works for you and what doesn’t. Randi is still in the beginning of her entrepreneurial journey, but if there is one thing I know, it’s that Randi will never give up. She will persevere and persevere until she makes it big, which could very well happen with her new company, Do Lyfe Activewear.
I have one thing left to say, DO LYFE and do it your way!
